SPCA of Wake County is an independent 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization and shelter headquartered in Raleigh, NC.
For 59 years, SPCA Wake has provided lifesaving shelter, care, and adoption services for companion animals in need. Through collaborative partnerships, SPCA Wake helps pets and people in more than half of North Carolina’s counties. Charitable support makes this work possible, funding vital community programs that pick up where local government agencies leave off.
Donations help keep families together, support frontline rescue work, and save pets and people in crisis across North Carolina. SPCA Wake’s people-focused programs include spay/neuter assistance, affordable access to basic vaccines and preventive care, pet food and supplies for home-bound, low-income seniors, and professional behavior assistance.
